Well, I guess its time for me to update. I haven't really updated in a while now.
So, Feb is here already. Can you believe it? I cant...It feels to me that is should still be the middle of january. I have a month of school behind me already.
Speaking of school.....LOVE IT. I never ever thought I'd be saying it but it is totally different when you are doing something you want to do. God has called me to be a nurse, and everyday I Like it more. I know "nursing" is what God wants me to do with my life. Now mind you it is extremely busy and hard and challenging, but I Love it. I learn so much everyday.
Another thing...CAMP APPLICATIONS are out!!! This is so exciting, I cant wait to go back to camp. Im applying for assistant nurse.. I really hope I get it, but if not i'll be a counsellor. I was talking to Rebecca the other night and all we were taking about was camp, it made me so happy and excited. I LOVE CAMP.
So anyways I'd write more but I am exhausted and need sleep. I'll update sooner next time...
Have a good weekeend.

Happy New Yearr!

Happy New Year!!

Well, its the beginning of a brand new year. 2007! What will it hold? What Will I do and experience in 2007? Im excited to find out.
I brought in the new year in St. Johns. Some of my friends and I went out to "Smitty's" for supper, then we went to my friends apartment and hung out for a while, then it was down to the waterfront for fireworks. It was fun. At the waterfront they had a band singing and stuff...it was alright. Not as good as other years though. What disapointed me the most was the fireworks. Im sure they were nice if you could see them. But at the waterfront all the big tankers and ships were blocking them. I dont think they realized they were going to block everybodys view. But the ones that I did get to see were nice.

Yesterday I took some time to recap all that has happened to me in 2006. It was a good year and I thank God for every single thing he has done for me throughout the year. So here are some things that I had the privilege of experiencing in 2006.

- I went curling for the first time.
- I accomplished year one of university.
- I went to a Rex Goudie Concert (first concert, besides YC)
- I went to Nova Scotia...Twice.
- I dyed my hair all over.
- I went to North Carolina to Work.
- I went Shopping in America...It was awesome.
- I met many new friends....I Love you All.
- I dated an awesome guy....and the bonus is that we are still friends.
- I got into the Nursing Falculty
- I disected things that I would never dream of doing.
- I went to my first pentecost church service.
- I won my first bowling game
- I got a bang.

I have been soo blessed in 2006. I dont even know where to begin. But most importantly I thank God for keeping me and my family and friends healthy and safe in 2006. When I Look at all that is happening in the world around us, I cant help but thank God for everything he is doing and has done in my life.

Im excited for 2007! Im going to try and make this year better then all the rest. Im going to laugh more, take more pictures, spend more time with family and friends and just all around be a better person. So heres to 2007!

Happy New Year Everyone!
