Our Tree!

Since there is only two weeks left to this semester, the room-mates and I decided it was time to put up the Christmas tree. I Love it. We also decorated the apartment. The apartment is sooo "Christmasy" and it brings such a cozy feeling. All I want to do is sit down with a cup of tea, wrap up in a blanket and watch Christmas Movies. Speaking of Christmas movies, Home Alone was on tonight. I Love how the Christmas season is approaching so quickly. Christmas is my favorite time of year..spending time with the family and friends...theres nothing better then that. But remember, in the middle of shopping and all that comes along with Christmas..."Jesus is the reason for the season". Only 29 more days!

Finals are also approaching rather quickly. So for the next 3 weeks I will be hard-core studying. Im dreading every minute of it but its what I got to do. I Love what Im doing but after all semester I would just like to sit back and not have to worry about studying. Im sure everyone feels the same way. Only 16 days till Im finished...then I have a month off. I cant wait.

Oh and I ordered my MUN NURSING jacket the other day. I'll get that in January. Im beyond excited.

Anyways thats all for me tonight.

Migrane

Today I had a horrible migrane. It was my fault though, I brought it on myself. Today was sunny. Dad picked me up to go and get the car from moms work. Me, knowing that I get migranes looked directly at the sun and said "Dad, I just noticed that the sun isn't so bright in the fall. In the summer you cant even look at it without hurting your eyes, but now...I can look directly at it and it dont even hurt!!" I think that might have been the stupidest thing I ever said and done. Like 10 minutes later when I looked at mom I could only see half of her face and there was a "flicky" thing in the corner of my eye. So I had to sit and wait a half an hour before I could drive. Thats the wierdest thing ever. I could only see half of everything. But that wasn't the worse part...I got the most horrible headache ever and it would not go away. It kept getting worse and worse. So I took some pills and now Im ok....like 8 hours later. Anyway...I hate migranes.

So yeah, I have the car for a couple days. I love having the car because I absolutely hate the bus. I avoid the bus as much as I can. I also dont have to rely on anyone. If I want Tims...I can go get Tims (sorry des). So Im going to enjoy the next couple days and the plan is to get my christmas shopping done and stock up on groceries.

Indescribable

I was looking at Pictures on my computer tonight and I came across this one. It was taken on the west coast of Newfoundland this summer. When I look at it, it reminds me of how amazing God really is and how blessed I am to live in such a beautiful province. I was on the west coast again this fall and all the leaves had turned into reds and oranges and browns. All you could do was look in awe. There are no words to describe it.

When I worked at camp this summer, I heard this song for the first time. It really blessed me throughout the summer. I think the words are amazing and tells how awesome and amazing our God is. He created this world for me and you to live in...God is amazing...there are no words great enough to describe him! Anyway here are the lyrics.

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation's revealing Your majesty

From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring

Every creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,

You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name

You are amazing God

All powerful, untameable,

Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim

You are amazing GodYou are amazing God

I hope everyone is having a good long weekend. Take your two minutes of silence and remember the soldiers who fought for our freedom and gave so much for us.
